Skoda has unveiled a dramatic open-top roadster version of its Fabia vRS S2000 rally car at Volkswagen Group’s GTI-Treffen tuning event in Worthersee. The one-off Skoda Fabia vRS S2000 design concept car has been designed and built specifically for the annual show. Skoda CEO Winfried Vahland told Autocar that the hand-built roadster had been created to “show what the company can do with a Fabia”.

The bike was designed as a tribute to the legendary British motorcycle racer Barry Sheene, and is produced in a limited edition of just 52, one for each year of Barry’s life. The bike is totally handcrafted and it features a powerful 1.4-liter, turbocharged, inline 4-cylinder engine that gives a top speed of 200 mph.

  It is often said that for green cars to be taken seriously, serious car buffs must realize that they can compete with the big boys. You see, most people think that you just can’t get proper mileage out of electric cars, that they are ugly, and most importantly, that they just can’t go fast. Saab Aero-X It’s encouraging to see car manufacturers look for alternative fuel sources to power their vehicles. This particular concept by Saab comes equipped with an ethanol guzzling 2.8L twin-turbocharged V6 that can get you from 0 to 100kph/60mph in 4.2 seconds. Even cooler, the car has no doors, rather, the entire top canopy section of the car opens up, making it one of the most unique designs out there. Sadly, the car is still on concept stage. First look: Toyota Prado Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched an all-new Land Cruiser Prado for the Indian market. Prado looks bold and stylish, and is aimed at competing with a strong array of SUVs – the Mitsubishi Montero, Audi Q5, BMW X3 and the Land Rover Freelander 2.

The Honda CR-Z (Compact Renaissance Zero) is a compact hybrid automobile marketed by Honda as "the world’s first hybrid sports car."  

Super hot Lamborghini Ankonian Last week, pictures emerged of the new Lamborghini Madura concept, a proposal for the upcoming hybrid model the company plans to release in 2016. Slavche Tanevsky , the creator of this concept, worked closely with designers at Lamborghini and Audi on this endevour. Now, he is introducing an even more aggressive concept that looks to elevate the current Reventon's design to the next level. Known as the Lamborghini Ankonian concept , this mid-engine supercar has a far out look that would make the Batmobile jealous.

Mach Ness Motorcycle manufacturer Arlen Ness crafted this metal monster powered by a gas-turbine helicopter engine. The aluminum outer shell with noticeably large rivets gives it a sort of steam punk edge that you just won’t get from carbon fiber and plastic. The body has been shaped entirely by hand, which lends to why it’s not being mass produced.

Tokyo Motor Show This year's Tokyo Motor Show is a lonesome affair for the Japanese, with foreign carmakers largely no-shows for the first time in decades as they cut costs amid the downturn and focus on fast-growing markets like China.

Bajaj's Kawasaki Ninja @ Rs 2.7 lakh Fuelling competition in the high-end bikes segment, the country's second largest two-wheeler maker, Bajaj, today launched its much-awaited 250cc motorcycle Kawasaki Ninja, priced at Rs 2.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 4-stroke bike will be retailed exclusively through Bajaj's Probiking showrooms.
