Sparks fly, tempers flares, heads turn, and romance blossoms for this mismatched pair of campaigners in the frantic and intoxicating days leading up to Election Day. Can the politics of love conquer all?

The film stars Loretta Devine, Brian J White, Mallika Sherawat.

It is a comedy romance inspired by the slew of publicly documented election love stories that sprung up during Obama's Presidential push.

On her own country's politics, she said "My country, India, may be the world's largest democracy (with a hella lot more than 2 political parties that gain seats in government %u2014 even a democratically elected communist state government!) but we are not without our problems."

Sherawat said it's the first film where a Republican falls in love with a Democrat, and also the first film with a black Republican lead character.

Codeblack Entertainment releases the film later this summer

Sherawat recently met President Barack Obama in Los Angeles, and for a second time at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

White, who is repped by UTA and Luber/Roklin Management, is a regular on the TNT series "Men of a Certain Age."

He next appears on the big screen in MGM's 3D thriller "The Cabin in the Woods," hitting theaters in January.
