Dassault Falcon
Dassault Falcon Jet is already making rounds in Indian circles, for the French aircraft manufacturer is all set to make an appearance in upcoming Hyderabad air show in March.
Falcon's website says, choosing to operate a smart, right-size Falcon could be one of the most practical, common-sense business decisions you'll ever make for they are well-known among business jets for their skills in flying to and from small airfields.
Each Falcon model claims to be the fuel-economy leader in its class, without compromising on cabin size and en route productivity. That economy also translates to the lowest emissions. Falcons' overall cost of operation is comparable to much smaller jets. The Falcon 2000 series and Falcon 900 series are claimed to have consistently outperformed their competition for retained value - by as much as 10 per cent over the long term, company website said.
Falcon has three series to boast about: Falcon 50 EX, Falcon 900 Series, Falcon 2000 Series.
Airbus 320 family
The Airbus A320 family comprises of short- to medium-range, narrow-body, commercial passenger jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. Airbus 320 family saw its humble beginning in late 1980 in the form of single-aisle A320 - which further developed into one of the most successful aircraft families with the A318, A319, A320 and A321.
According to the company website, "With more than 3,200 aircraft sold worldwide, the A320 Family is the undisputed leader in the single-aisle jetliner marketplace. The Family comprises four aircraft that share the same cockpit, fly with the same operating procedures, and have the same cabin cross-section and systems."
A320 Prestige that has longer-fuselage as compared to other members of the family, has 100 square metres of cabin area which allows the possibility of an infinite number of interior configurations.
Meanwhile, the newest addition to the family is the smallest A318 Elite, which is desinged in a way to meet the needs of customers who do not call of large cabin areas. It is an entry-level corporate jet for new operators.
The A319, tha defines comfort, has an exceptional range of 3,700 nm/6,850 km to offer true transcontinental non-stop capability, whether routes are primarily business travel or leisure and holiday travel.
And the last but not the least, the A321, is the largest of the 320 family. It accommodates 185 passengers in a two-class configuration over a range of up to 3,000nm/5,550km, and up to 220 passengers in a high-density configuration.
Boeing Business Jet
The Boeing Business Jet (BBJs) series are variants of Boeing airliners for the business jet market. Aircraft in this series usually has a seating arrangement for 25 to 50 passengers in a luxurious interior concepts. This may include a master bedroom, a washroom with shower(s), a conference/dining area, and a living area.
According to the company website, "One hundred four BBJ and VIP airplanes are currently in service around the world, in addition to approximately 30 wide-body Boeing jets that are in service to governments and heads of state, sold through other means.".
Currently, BBJ series include BBJ, 747 VIP, 777 VIP and 787 VIP.
Boeing Business Jet Stephen Taylor said, "Our customer base comprises people who put a high premium on mobility, for both their airplane and themselves. They don't want to be immobilized when they travel, but prefer to live as they do on the ground, with access to an office, bedroom, shower, dining facilities, entertainment areas and more."
Gulfstream V G500
Gulfstream G500 is a large-cabin, ultra-long range business jet. On the company website, they claim that at Mach 0.85, the versatile G500 can carry an eight-person management team 5,100 nautical miles in record time. For longer flights to far-off capitals, the G500 offers a range of 5,800 nm, easily linking Los Angeles with Tokyo or London with Johannesburg, the comapny website said.
According to the official website, each of the G500's two Rolls-Royce BR710 engines produces 15,385 pounds of thrust, more than enough to attain a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.88. These engines, combined with the G500's remarkable wing, provide a ceiling of 51,000 feet to cruise high above inclement weather, turbulence and commercial traffic. This combination also results in outstanding takeoff performance with the ability to depart a 5,150 ft runway at maximum weight.
Gulfstream G500 offers customers six available configurations. Each of it consists of up to four distinct living areas, three separate temperature zones, and a host of amenities that support airborne productivity and complete relaxation. The G500 also includes a full-sized galley for hot-meal service
Bombardier Business Jets
Bombardier, a well-known name for business jet builds, has three familes of high-performance corporate jets ---- Learjet, Challenger and Global.
While, Learjet is the range of sporty, vital and forceful light business jets, Challenger is the midsized to large ones and Global comprises of super-large and ultra-long jets to ensure space and comfort.
Bombardier Learjet, named after famous American inventor and businessman Bill Lear, as claimed by the official website, has been known for its beauty, power, agility and speed. Bombardier website boasts of have added even more brilliance to the Learjet legacy, defining and then redefining what a business jet should be. Fleet of Learjet includes: Learjet 40 XR, Learjet 45 XR, Learjet 60 XR, Learjet 85.
However, Bombardier Challenger is designed more on the lines of corporate functionality in the air. These high-altitude boardrooms, are claimed to have been tested over more than two million hours of demanding use, are considered every bit as reliable as they are remarkable, the website said. Models under Challenger includes, Challenger 300, Challenger 605 and Challenger 850.
Last but not the least, Bombardier Global, is said to be a fusion of grace and power. Being super-large and ultra-long, Global proves to be a majestic experience at its best. The Global Express is said to be capable of flying intercontinental ranges without refueling or between most two points in the world with only one stop. Global series includes, Global 5000, Global Express XRS.
