Harry Potter theme park!
A giant hi-tech roller-coaster set inside Hogwarts Castle will be one of the attractions at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park due to open in Florida next spring
The "Forbidden Journey" ride, named by author JK Rowling, will take customers on a journey through scenes from the Harry Potter films when the attraction opens at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure resort in Orlando
Artist's impressions of the theme park also show it will have a full-sized Potter-themed village of Hogsmeade and a Three Broomsticks restaurant
Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods will stock Ministry of Magic and magical creatures merchandise, Omnioculars, and even remote control Golden Snitches
Mark Woodbury, head of Universal Creative, said Wizarding World scenery, attractions and souvenirs were faithful to JK Rowling's seven-book Harry Potter series
Woodbury said visitors would also be able to relax in the Owlery
Other attractions include the Dragon Challenge, a high-speed ride described as "definitely for the brave." It is based on the Triwizard Tournament
Another is Flight of the Hippogriff, a coaster based on Rowling's magical creature with the head, wings and front legs of a giant eagle and body, hind legs and tail of a horse
Alan Gilmore, the supervising art director for the theme park and a former art director on two Harry Potter films, said: "[It is] brand new, extremely exciting, never been done, never been seen before..
